Sponsorship with the Upper Peninsula Arts and Culture Alliance offers your business or corporate entity a valuable opportunity to enhance your community presence while supporting a thriving creative economy in the UP. By becoming a sponsor, you gain access to exclusive benefits such as the chance to host outreach events that can showcase you commitment to the arts and engage with local audiences in meaningful ways. High levels of recognition through various promotional channels will underscore your dedication to fostering the region’s cultural and artistic growth.

Sponsorship directly contributes to our essential program areas: research, education, connection, and promotion. This support not only advances our mission but also aligns your brand with the positive impact of nurturing and celebrating arts and culture, reinforcing your role as a leader in community enrichment and cultural advocacy.

Sponsorships are offered at four levels, and include a range of benefit options (see below). Select benefits that make the most sense for you or your business or organization. If a benefit you feel would be useful for your organization is not on the list, reach out to us with suggestions!

Patron · Any amount up to $499

Your organization's name will be listed on the sponsor page on our website, in our annual report, and in a special shoutout on social media (Facebook, Instagram, and email). Our organic media engagement typically generates around 2,000 impressions.

Amplifier · $500+

Receive the same benefits as Patron, and select one (1) from the list of benefits available (see below). Select whatever benefit makes the most sense for you! 

Partner · $1,000+

Receive the same benefits as Patron, and select two (2) from the list of benefits available (see below). Select whatever benefit makes the most sense for you!

Champion · $3,000+

Receive the same benefits as Patron, and select three (3) from the list of benefits available (see below). Select whatever benefit makes the most sense for you! In addition to these benefits, Champion sponsors also receive their logo on all physical signage at all events, on the homepage of our website, and on the cover page of the annual report, indicating your direct sustaining impact for the Alliance.

Sponsor benefit options

Select from the following depending on your level of support. Choose one (1) for Amplifier level sponsorship, two (2) for Partner level, and three (3) for Champion level.

  • Opportunity to host a scheduled outreach event in your community or venue.
  • Host a presentation from an Alliance board member at your organization. Presentations can cover topics such as grant writing and economic impact research.
  • Have a booth/table at our Annual Conference.
  • Schedule your own special outreach event in collaboration with the Alliance at a location of your choosing.
  • Add your organization's logo and branding to the sponsor page on our website and annual report.
  • Receive three tickets to the Annual Conference.
  • The Alliance will produce a press release highlighting your donation for wide distribution to our complete media list across the entire UP and Northern Lower Michigan.

Our research shows that over $42 million is spent annually in arts and culture event-related activities and arts and culture nonprofit organizations in the UP.

Research

In partnership with organizations like Americans for the Arts, we are conducting research in arts and culture and related sectors to measure the impact of arts and culture in the UP.

Education

Through grant workshops, web resources, newsletters, and our annual conference, we are working to educate the arts and culture community on funding and professional opportunities.

Connection

Our hands-on approach to connect arts and culture leaders in the Upper Peninsula includes quarterly gatherings rotating through all regions of the UP.

Promotion

Our online database of arts and culture organizations and individual artists totaling over 250 profiles, we help promote and advocate for an interconnected arts and culture community in the UP.
