Opportunity: Marquette County seeks muralist
Marquette County Planning Division is seeking submissions from qualified artist and artist teams to design and install a vibrant, site-specific asphalt mural at Little Trout Lake Park in K.I. Sawyer. The goal of this project is to enhance community vibrancy and celebrate nature and the local culture. The budget is up to $14,300 including design, materials, labor, etc. with a final submission deadline of July 20th, 2026 at 3 p.m. EST. with design and installation expected from August to September, 2026. Interested applicants must submit a portfolio of past public art and a preliminary design concept.
